About 115 early photographic and illustrated postcards, mostly undivided, depicting Jerusalem and its sites. Various publishers, Jerusalem, Germany and elsewhere, [late 19th century and early 20th century].
Most of the postcards were sent by mail and bear postmarks and postage stamps of Palestinian post offices from the Ottoman period (including many postmarks of the Austrian post office in Jerusalem). Several of the postcards also bear stamps of pre-WWI Palestine guesthouses and hotels – Grand New Hotel A&J Morcos; Howard's Hotel; Lloyd Hotel Fast & Co.; and more.
