Shlomo Aharon Wertheimer of Jerusalem (researcher who publicized the Cairo Genizah and Yemenite manuscripts, and author of dozens of books) and members of the Sassoon and Ezra families in London. Includes illustrated Shana Tova letters in color lithographic print. Jerusalem, 1924-1935.
The letters include interesting correspondence, discussions and studies regarding early manuscripts, sponsoring of book publications, and more. The collection includes over 24 letters handwritten and signed by R. "Shlomo Aharon Wertheimer". Most of the letters are addressed to Mrs. Farha (Flora) Sassoon and her son R. David Sassoon (most letters are in Rashi script, two are in English).
