Korban Aharon, commentary to Sifra (with the text of the Sifra), by R. Aharon ibn Chaim. Venice: Zuan (Giovanni) di Gara, 1609-[1611]. First edition.
Korban Aharon is a fundamental commentary to Sifra on Torat Kohanim (the Gaon of Vilna wrote glosses to this prominent work). The book opens with the Beraita of R. Yishmael on the thirteen hermeneutic principles through which the Torah is interpreted, with the Middot Aharon commentary (leaves 5-37a).
Censor's signatures on verso of final leaf.
Many ownership inscriptions (some deleted), including: "Mine, Shlomo Pontremoli", "I acquired it from my brother… Chiya Pontrimol[i]", "Mine Shmuel son of R. Gamliel", "Elchanan ---n", "Falk[?] ---", "Salomon Caim Cagli".
On title page, signature of R. Moshe Herzfeld Rabbi of Szilas-Bolhas (Mezőszilas), disciple of the Chatam Sofer and son-in-law of R. Daniel Prostitz (HaChatam Sofer VeTalmidav, pp. 348-349).

Open tears and worming, affecting text in several places, repaired with paper and tape (with handwritten text replacements to last two leaves). Tears to center of title page, repaired with tape. Leaves trimmed with damage to text and headings in several places. Old binding; spine torn and detached.
