This first edition was printed anonymously. The book was attributed to R. Natan of Breslov, and later editions were published under his name. This fact is however not conclusive. However, his authorship of the book is disputed.
On pp. 11-12, the author quotes a poem defaming Moreh Nevuchim by the Rambam. A gloss penciled near the poem states: "It is not known who composed this ugly pamphlet, but he deserves to be torn like a fish and excommunicated for disgracing a Torah scholar…".
40 pages. 18 cm. Stains, wear and tears, primarily to margins, affecting text in a few places. Inner margin of one leaf reinforced with paper. Ownership and other inscriptions. Many places underlined (in pen) for emphasis. Without binding.
