Printed Ketubah (Marriage Contract), completed by hand, recording the marriage of the groom Noah Hai Michael Arwilli to the Bride Zelma daughter of Ezekiel Meir Halima. Baghdad, November 21, 1919. Signatures of witnesses: ”The young man Saul Moses H’ Simon”, “Meir Joseph Gabriel Eliyah” etc. Folded and placed in a cloth case, that was made specially for holding this ketubah. Also in the case is a receipt for a donation to “Company of Founders of the Baghdad Hospital” that the groom donated on his wedding day, and was placed for safekeeping in the case next to the Ketubah. Ketubah: 39 cm. Fair condition, folding marks and tears [repaired by pasting]. Case: approx. 11x16 cm.
