The French painter Alexandre Bida (1813-1895) visited Palestine in 1859 and painted the Western Wall and Jews at prayer. It is worthwhile noting that the worshipers have left their shoes in a pile on the side.
Approx. 60X50 cm. Good condition. Frame: 100X110 cm (unexamined out of frame.
