Jewelry box produced by "Bezalel". Jerusalem, c. 1911.
Brass; ivory. Stamped on bottom: "Bezalel Yerushalem".
A round jewelry box, on four brass marbles with an ivory handle in the shape of a flower for opening the box. The handle was carved in the Department of Ivory carving in "Bezalel" (from 1911, managed by Meir Gur-Aryeh) or in the independent workshops of "Bezalel" teachers Moshe Moro and Mordechai Avnieli. The inside of the box is wood-paneled.
Height: 4.5 cm, circumference: 8 cm. Good condition. Width of flower: 2.2. cm. Damages and small break to rims.
