Illustrated Passover Haggadah with the commentary of Abarbanel. Includes instructions and customs in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino. Amsterdam: Shlomo Proops, [1712].
Two title pages, the first with illustrations of Moses and Aaron and Moses at the burning bush. Further illustrations in the body of the Haggadah.
The title page and illustrations are engravings by Abraham Bar-Jacob the convert, who illustrated the Amsterdam 1695 Haggadah. This Haggadah was printed according to the same template, with changes to the title page illustrations and two other illustrations.
[1], 31 leaves. 31.5 cm. Condition varies; fair to fair-poor. Stains and wear. Worming on the text; repaired. Repaired tears. Dark food stains. The two last sections of the Haggadah (Hallel and Nirtza) contain handwritten glosses. New elaborate leather binding.
Without the folded map of Eretz Israel at the end of the Haggadah.
