Children's tales published by Majselech, edited by M.[Mordechai] Birenboim (1877-1934). Set of ten printed cards, in an original cardboard folder. Warsaw: Sikora Press, 1929 (on the front of the case: 1930). Yiddish.
Set of 10 printed cards. Each card is folded in half; printed on the front are the title of the tale, an illustration, and the details of the publisher and the printer; printed on the three following pages is a short tale for children, occasionally accompanied by a poem. The cards are placed in the original cardboard folder with an illustration of children reading a book printed on its front, alongside the year 1930, and the title "Farlag Majselech".
10 cards, [4] pp in each, 12X15 cm. Condition of cards: fair-good. Stains. Creases and minor wear to margins. Pen writing on one of the cards. Cardboard folder: 12.5X15.5 cm. Fair condition. Torn in half (some pieces missing). Tears and stains.
