Ketubah, set in a decorative color frame. Casablanca, Morocco, 1939.
The text is inscribed in the upper portion of the leaf, with the signatures of the witnesses authenticated by the rabbi of Casablanca, R. Moshe Meir Chaim Elyakim, with his signature and stamp.
Vases, flowers and birds are drawn above and below the text. The lower part of the leaf contains medallions with fish, flowers, palm and cypress trees.
The ketubah follows the rite of the "exiles of Castille".
42 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, folding marks and tears. Inscription and stamps. Framed (unexamined out of frame).
