Hakdamah VeDerech L'Etz HaChaim, on the study of Kabbalah, by Rebbe Tzvi Hirsh of Zidichov. Lviv, [1832]. First edition.
The book is divided into two parts: Sur MeRa and VeAseh Tov. In later editions, the book was published under the joint title – Sur MeRa VeAseh Tov.
Rebbe Tzvi Hirsh Eichenstein, the Ateret Tzvi of Zidichov (1763-1831), was known by the name "Sar Beit HaZohar" due to his exceptional knowledge of kabbalah. Close disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin. Under his leadership, Zidichov became one of the largest and most prominent Chassidic centers in Galicia.

Open tears to title page and other leaves, affecting text, repaired with paper (some handwritten text replacements). Worming affecting text, repaired with paper. Stamps. New leather binding.


On the title page, false imprint on the title page for Jihdas Rosanis, 1804.This type of falsification was common in Chassidic books printed in Galicia at that time, due to censorship restrictions and the persecution of Chassidim by the Haskalah movement.
