Poetry book by Mili Novak, style inspired by the October Revolution and by the writings of Mayakovsky and Alexander Blok. Novak's poetry is one of the early examples of proletarian-communist poetry in Hebrew. The cover design utilizes a unique typography by the artist Manuil (Emanuel) Shechtman (1900-1941) – a graphic designer, painter and theater-set designer, student in Kiev's art academy, close to the literary circles in Kiev at the 1920s, and active in the areas of culture and art. 47pp, 22.5cm.
