Vikucha Rabba was authored by R. Yaakov of Keidan, and contains a fictional exchange of letters between two men regarding the prayer texts of the Arizal and the customs and ways of Chassidut. The title page ascribes this argument to two figures: R. Binyamin Ze'ev of Slonim, disciple of the Gaon of Vilna, and R. Yosef of Nemirov, disciple of R. Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev. The book defends the Chassidic movement.
