Varied collection of about 3500 Passover Haggadot. [20th-21st Centuries].
This exceptionally large collection can be divided into three parts: haggadot with translation (German, English, French, Russian, Yiddish, Ladino and more); haggadot with commentaries, including many Chassidic commentaries, some with kabbalistic kavanot, commentaries by Hungarian rabbis and commentaries by Sephardi rabbis; haggadot without translation or commentary, some issued by various organizations.
The collection includes facsimiles and photocopy editions of manuscripts and early prints. Some haggadot are illustrated.
Approx. 3500 haggadot. Size and condition vary. The books were not thoroughly examined, and are being sold as is. A detailed list, composed by the consignor, is available upon request. This lot is not in our offices, and is available for viewing in Petach Tikva, by appointment.
