A report handwritten by J. Fresco, addressed to the president of the JCA (Jewish Colonization Association), about chemical analysis of the lands of Sejera, assessing their agricultural fertility. [Place not indicated], December 19, 1901. French.
The report, which was written at the request of the agronomist Haim Margaliot Kalvarisky – the person in charge of the settlement in the Galilee on behalf of the JCA and the founder of the Sejera farm (Ilaniya) – describes the chemical-agronomical analysis of the lands of the farm. The writer, J. Fresco, recommends using chemical fertilizers, though it won't necessarily be financially worthwhile.
