17 postcards with "Shana Tovah" greetings. Various publishers and places of printing (most of them published by Williamsburg and Z. Resnik, New York, and printed in Germany), [ca. 1920s-1930s].
Most of the postcards bear color illustrations and short rhymed Yiddish texts, accompanied by greetings for the New Year. One postcard depicts the painting "Hanukkah" by Moritz Oppenheim.
Enclosed: an official IDF postcard, with a photograph of the Lod Airport after its conquest in the War of Independence, which was sent to the conductor of the "Alexanderoni Band" during the war, in October 1948.
Size and condition vary. Tears and creases to several of the postcards.
