28 black and white photographs, by the photographer Zoltan Kluger, documenting places and events in Palestine. [1930s-40s].
Among the photographs: Re-internment of Pinsker in Palestine. * Establishment of the settlements Kfar Kish, Bazra and Kfar Munash. * Pilots course. * Jewish sailors and soldiers. * And more.
The photographs are ink-stamped on the reverse with photographer's stamp: "The Oriental Press Photo Co." On some photographs appears a caption and printing instructions. On four photographs are notes with press information in German. One photograph is mounted on cardboard and signed on verso with an ink-stamp "Photo Z. Kluger. Copyright…by Palphot".
Size and condition vary. Average size: 23X16.5 cm. Good overall condition. Inscriptions in pen and pencil and some stains on the back of the photographs. Some tears and creases at corners of a number of photographs.
