Eight newspapers, photographs and paper items belonging to students in "Tarbut " School in Kovel (Ukraine) and in other educational institutes. Kovel, Trisk and Lodz, 1929-1930. Hebrew, one item in Polish.
1-3. Three issues of students' papers, handwritten and mimeographed: * Itonenu, weekly of HMH.R. [?]. Publisher Y. [Yerahmiel Yehezkeli?] Virnik. Issue 4, dated 16.5.1929. * HaZerem, weekly of "Tarbut" Hebrew Gymnasium in Kovel, edited by Y. Virnik and I. Loewenberg. Two issues: first year booklet no. 3, dated 13.12.1929; second year booklet no. 6, dated 7.3.1930.
4. Approval form for participation in a trip, typewritten on official stationery of "Tarbut" Hebrew Gymnasium in Kovel [Gimnazjum koedukacyjne żydowsk. stowarzyszenia kulturalno-oświatowe "Tarbut" w Kowlu]. Given to the stuent Rywka Bar on 24.9.1929. Ink-stamped with the school's stamp. Polish.
5. "Graduation Certificate" on behalf of "Hebrew School 'Herzliya' in Kovel". Given to Rywka Bar for graduation in 1921. Signed by the principal and the teachers, and ink-stamped with school's stamp.
6-8. Three group photographs of Zionist students in East Europe: * Kindergarten of "Tarbut" in Trisk, 1932 (dedicated by hand on the back): Class 8, "Tarbut" gymnasium in Kovel (twelve hand-signatures on the reverse); "D-borochov Kibutz HaMeuchad, Lodz group", on the day of their arrival in Palestine, 28.11.1932 (on the back appears the title "Rywka Bar Kovel"). The three photographs are titled in the plate.
