Collection of documents from the holocaust period; Brady-Mimets-Elkan family. Holland, 1941-1946. Dutch and English.
Among the documents: • Handwritten letter (pencil), on a telegram-like designated form, of Vught concentration camp, near the town of s'-Hertogenbosch, Holland. • Typewritten document, on Vught Concentration Camp stationery, March 31 1945, on behalf of Red Cross representatives; the letter testifies that Mrs. Sara Jenny Elkan, b. 1912, arrived in April 1943 in Vught camp and was transferred to Westerbork in July 1943. • Identity Card of Hilde Sibylla Sara Elkan, issued in Arnhem in November 1941. • Identity card, printed on a postcard. Issued in Arnhem, July 1942, with ink stamps “Tehuis voor Isr. Oude Lieden”. • Letter from the Red Cross, to Mrs. Brady-Elkan, March 1946. The letter mentions that Fritz Mimets and Jenny Mimetz-Elkan were sent from Westerbork to Sobivor. Lot of 7 documents. Size and condition varies.
