Sefer Arba’a Ve’esrim [Torah, Nevi’im, Ktuvim], including the Chomat Anach commentary, parts 1-4, by the Chida – Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai. Pisa, 1803-1804. First edition.
First volume contains especially adorned title page, which differs from the title pages of the other volumes. [In 1804 the first volume was reprinted in the same place, (under the name Chamisha Chumshei Torah… with the Chomat Anach Commentary), and contained a regular title page similar to the other volumes. The following is the original first section of the first edition].
Four volumes (Torah, Nevi’im Rishonim, Nevi’im Achronim, Ktuvim). [2], 251, [2]; 176; 190; [2], 217, [13] leaves. 21 cm. Good condition. Moth damages with slight damage to text. Stains. Unoriginal bindings. Sefer Shmuel consists of a lengthy gloss in oriental handwriting.
