Home Through the Vale of Tears. Published by the "Brycha", 1948. Hebrew, Yiddish and English.
A book with many photographs which documents the massive illegal emigrations of European Jews from countries that were freed by the Red Army to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, and from there to Palestine. Part of the book is dedicated to the journey of the children and the orphans who walked through the paths of escape, while another part of the book documents the journey and capture of the ship Exodus. Accompanied by explanations and biblical verses in Hebrew, Yiddish and English. Handwritten dedication and introduction by [Ephraim] Dekel (1903-1982), senior member of the "Haganah" and among the instigators of the "Brycha".
