The Ga’on Rabbi Yosef Moshe Shapira (1738-1815), disciple of the Maggid of Mezritch and Rabbi Michel of Zloczów. Served as Maggid [preacher] in Zborów and Zalozitz and was known as one of the greatest Chassidim of his generation.
