Bookends. Made by L.V. Aronson. USA, 1922. Metal. Felt attached to the base. Marked: "L.V. Aronson 1922". Maker's label on the base of one of the bookends. On the front appear the Tablets of the Law and the Ten Commandments, in Hebrew characters. The commandments are numbered with Roman characters. A star of David and sun rays-like lines appear on the upper part of the Tablets of the Law. A decoration of rocks on which the Tablets of the Law are "reclining" appears on the side of the bookends.
