The Be’er Rehovot, a commentary on Rashi’s grammatical commentaries on the Bible. Rabbi Izik Auerbach. First and second edition. Sulzbach, 1730 and Fürth, 1762.
Copy 1: 59 leaves, 19 cm. Good-fair condition, dark paper, worn around the edges. Old binding.
Copy 2: 66 leaves. 18.5 cm. Good condition, light paper, light wear around the edges. Rebound. The words “Like Amsterdam” appear in big letters on the second edition’s title page. Up to leaf 59, the Fürth edition is an exact replica of the Sulzbach edition (minus changes in the adornments). Leaves 59 through 66 are additions made by the author, which were not printed in the first edition
