Every pamphlet contains list of members who owned seats in the following synagogues: Golder's Green Synagogue, New West End Synagogue, Dalston Synagogue, Great Synagogue, Borough Synagogue, Hammersmith and West Kensington Synagogue; as well as more.
22 cm, good through very good condition. Inscriptions penned on the title pages.

Rabbi Yosef Shapotsnick (1882-1938), was born in Kishinev to his father the Rebbe of Belzitz. Received rabbinic ordination by the Maharsham of Berzan. Arrived in England in 1913. A brilliant and weird person. Acted in many areas: published books and periodicals; annotated Shas "Great of the Greatest", released 40,000[!] agunot; offered cures for mental and physical ills, gave charity and more. In his activity to release agunot he irritated the leading rabbis in his generation, see enclosed material.

Signed by witnesses, a property registration clerck and owners of the property confirming transfer of rights from Margaretta Nathans, wife of Ya'akov Nathans to the new owners, Ya'akov Kremer.
Measurements, name of street, plot, names of neighboring properties appear in the document. English.
Ya'akov Kremer is mentioned in the book Abstracts of Philadelphia country Pennsylvania Wills , F. Edward Wright, 1763-1784. The United States, 1998, page 127, as a witness signed on a will of 1771.

1. Sermon held by Dr. L. Salomon in "Rodef Shalom" synagogue in Philadelphia on April 27 1841. Subject of the sermon: Foundations of the Law of Moses, Book of Mishlei 25/4. Includes a citation from Nachlat Avot by Abarbanel. Hebrew and German. [6] leaves with [9] handwritten columns.
2. Sermon by Marks Gretz in Salomon Hofheimer and Miss Shiela's wedding dinner. Philadelphia? 30.09.1849. [4]leaves written on both sides.
3. Translation into English of German sermon held on Yom Kippur (the United States, no date) in "Temple" synagogue in Hamburg, Germany. Name of preacher is not mentioned, it might be Dr. L. Solomon. [2] written pages.

1. Agreement signed by representatives of the Beth Israel Synagogue, and a notary. Ohio, 1924. The agreement approves the appointment of Rabbi Yitzchak Mirkin as Rabbi of Beth Israel Synagogue in Ohio for a period of two years, and includes details such as the monthly salary and more.
2-5. Three letters of endorsement from 1924 which testify that Rabbi Yitzchak Mirkin served as Rabbi in the Tachkenomi Synagogue, signed by Rabbi Aharon Eliyahu Cohen, Rabbi Bentzion Kartzmer, Rabbi M. Illan and A. Uri, also signed and stamped by a lawyer; letter of endorsement from 1936 to Shoshana Mirkin, his wife, from Prof. Herman Zondak.
6. Visa given to Rabbi Yitzchak Mirkin from the American Consulate in Jerusalem in 1924, in order to travel to the USA. Includes his personal details ("Rabbi and Professor"), family details, and his photo.
7. Letter sent by Knesset Israel Association to Tzidkas Rabbi Meir in Jerusalem. Two checks with donations were originally enclosed to the letter, as well as the names of the donors. New York, 1936.
