"Civilians, when we go through this we need all the help and comfort you can give. The Jewish Welfare Board, United War Work Campaign – week of November II, 1918". The JWB was founded in April 1917, three days after the US declared war on Germany. The artist: Sidney H. Riesenberg (1885-1962). 55x83cm. Good-fair condition. Brittle paper. Creases, tears to creases, especially to lower part.

“Tochnit” – original poster, the Eretz Israel Theatre. Ink on paper, signed and dated at the bottom: A. Deitsch, 26 February, 1927. Title with decorated letters and the theatre symbol at the top.
The Eretz Israel Theatre was established in Berlin in 1923 by five actors from Eretz Israel who studied acting there, led by Miriam Bernstein-Cohen. Upon its founding it was managed by Menachem Genesin, one of the founders of theatre in Eretz Israel. After moving to Palestine in 1925 the theatre closed down in 1927. 48x67cm. Very good condition. Mild creasing and staining
