Palästina im bild [Palestine in Pictures]. Photography: Leo Kahn. Published by the Judische Zeitung newspaper (where Kahn worked), Vienna, 1912.
One-hundred and three (103) photographs taken by Kahn during his mission to Eretz Israel in 1912, on behalf of the newspaper and in cooperation with the JNF.
Divided into three sections: From Jaffa to Jerusalem; From Jerusalem to Haifa; The Galilee. The photographs show settlements and cities, landscapes, settlers, children, workers, institutions (The Hebrew Gymnasium, Bezalel), and more. Incomplete set (originally 180 plates). Photographs 11x8.5cm, printed on heavy paper 20x16cm. Good condition. Some foxing and slight creases.

Forty-two souvenir postcards of Palestine, mounted on Bristol board leaves. The majority of the images are of Jerusalem and the rest of Nazareth, Jericho, Tiberias and Jordan. Most of the postcards were printed in Hamburg. At the beginning and the end of the album are two original photographs of the participants in front of the Dome of the Rock. Handwritten annotations on postcards and photographs, in German. Photographs 14.5x11.5cm, 17x12cm, album 32.5cm. Good condition.

Five real-photo postcards, two of which feature artist Ziona Tager (1900-1988), native of Jaffa, "First Holy Land artist”. Three bear a dedication in her handwriting: One is signed "Ziona Tager”; on another postcard dated 1919 she writes to her friend, “Let’s meet each other again, alive and healthy in our beloved land and city after a long and tough two-year exile” (reference to the expulsion of the residents of Tel-Aviv on the eve of Passover, 1917).
