Albatross, zhurnal for dem nayem dichter un kinstler oysdruk [periodical for new poetry and artistic expression], edited by Uri Zvi Greenberg. Warsaw-Berlin, 1922-1923.
Complete set (four issues in three booklets, no additional issues were printed) of the modern Yiddish periodical "Albatross", known for its impact on the Yiddish literary circles and on Jewish modernism.
In the first issue appears "manifest tsu di kegner fun der nayer dichtung" [manifest for the opponents to modern poetry] – a modernist revolutionary composition by Uri Zvi Greenberg, which has not been invisible to the open eyes of the authorities that reacted with publishing a ban while the second issue was published and all its copies confiscated. Following this event, Uri Zvi Greenberg left for Berlin. In the third issue, published in Berlin, appeared the poem "BeMalchut HaZlav" composed by Greenberg, a poem of prophecy predicting the extinction of European Jewry. A year later, in 1924, Uri Zvi Greenberg moved to Eretz Israel, where he continued his writing, in Hebrew.

Poetry book by Mili Novak, of the Jewish poets who stayed in Soviet Russia after World War I. This poetry book, inspired by the October revolution and the writings of Maikovsky and Alexander Blok, is one of the few Hebrew poetry books published under bans, alongside with "Bereshit" (see next item) and "Tziltzeley Shema". The cover design presents a unique typography, done by the artist Manuil (Emanuel) Shechtman (1900-1941) – a graphic designer, painter and theater-sets designer, student in Kiev's art academy, close to the literary circles in Kiev at the 1920's, and active in the areas of culture and art. 47 pages, 23.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Tears to borders of cover. Few creases.

The writers' group that published the book was unable to find a printing house in the Soviet Union prepared to print a Hebrew book, and the manuscript was therefore sent to Berlin for printing. Only a small portion of the printed copies were allowed into the Soviet Union. [4], 200, [4] pages, 22 cm. Fair condition. Stains, damages to binding's corners. Tear with text omission to page 63.
