Fine edition. The opening letters of each chapter were hand-painted. Upper page-cutting is gilded. Leather binding of excellent quality with golden decorations. Gold embossed decorations on front cover and leather-embossing in colors of book title, hand-made by Hübel & Denck, Leipzig. Copy number 117 out of an edition of 200 numbered copies. 86, [1] pages, 35 cm. Good condition. Damages to spine.

"One hundred and twenty numbered copies were printed on hand-made Japanese paper in honor of Shmuel Yosef Agnon's eightieth birthday… this copy is number 33". Has never been commercially sold, the complete edition was presented to Agnon for distribution amongst his friends. [4] leaves, un-cut sheet. 26.5 cm. Good condition. Borders have become somewhat yellow. From the private collection of Dr. Israel Mehlman.

The Torah was published at a later stage with letters made by Eliyahu Koren (Korngold), Jerusalem 1959, and a complete Bible, Jerusalem 1962. [4] leaves, 30 cm. Good condition.
