According to the mission statement at the beginning of the first issue, the journal's goal was to "… present before our readers the Land of Israel, in a manner suitable for everyone" (Yiddish). The present issues feature articles by Max Nordau, Arthur Rupin, Davis Trietsch, Aaron Aaronsohn, Yisrael Zangwill, Nachum Sokolov, David Ben Gurion, Yitzchak Ben Zvi and others, as well as pictures and illustrations by Chaim Goldberg (1888-1943) and others and two maps of Palestine .
