Composition consisting of two parts: depiction of the author's journey to Romania and the state of the Jewish community there and "a general view of life of the American people and life of Jews there".
2. "Jews and Judaism in New York", by Moshe Weinberger. Part one. New-York, 1887. A description of Orthodox Jewish life in New-York. Issued to benefit the publisher, “Machzikei Talmud Torah”. Goldman 1093. Both compositions are bound together. [6], IV, 52, 62 [should be 66]; [1], XII, 124 pp, volume: 17.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Ink stamps. Chopped edges with text loss on some pages.
