A collection of approximately 190 letters by religious Zionists and the Eda HaCharedit rabbis, community leaders, Zionist activists and intellectuals. Various locales in Palestine, Europe and the US, 1880-1980.
Letters by Yehoshua Tahon (Ozjasz Thon. Theodor Herzl's assistant, a founder of the Zionist Organization); Shlomo Yitzchak Shtampfer (first mayor of Petah Tikva); Yehoshua Radler-Feldman ("R' Binyamin", author and Zionist activist); Eliezer Dan Slonim (banker and Zionist activist, murdered during the 1929 Palestine riots); Yehuda Leib HaCohen Fishman Maimon (a founder of the Mizrachi Movement and a signatory of the Israeli Declaration of Independence); Ze'ev Gold (a Mizrachi leader in the US and a signatory of the Israeli Declaration of Independence); Meir Bar Ilan (founder of the HaTzofeh); Moshe David Kasuto; Avraham Yehoshua Heshel; Asher Weiser, Yehuda Ratzhabi; Eliezer Zweifel; etc.
Most of the letters are handwritten, some are typewritten, a number on official stationery. The collection also contains a number of signed paper items which are not letters: checks, forms, notes and other items.
