Following the title page appears the instruction, "Verbot der teilnahme von Juden an den versteigerungen des Dorotheums" - which prohibits Jews from participating in the auctions. Apparently, Home furnishings sold at the auctions belonged to Jews whose property was confiscated. 24.5 cm. Good condition. Stains on cover of one catalogue.
