The (printed) signature and temporary Boston address of Rabbi Yosef Salant (son of Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Salant who was actually a great-grandson of Rabbi Shmuel) appear at the bottom of the proclamation as well as (printed) signatures of rabbis of Boston and other cities in the State of Massachusetts.
Rabbi Shmuel Salant who was alluded to as still alive at the time of the proclamation died in 1909, and Rabbi Duber ben Abba Ya'akov Borochov who signed as the Rabbi of Malden (Massachusetts) began to serve there in the rabbinate in 1902.
