Medal struck to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Alliance Israélite Universelle organization. Silver plated bronze. Maker: E. Hannaux. France, 1910.
Obverse: Profile portrait relief of Narcisse Leven (signed: E. Hannaux, 1910), and the inscription: "Narcisse Leven Pt de L'Alliance Israelite Universelle".
Reverse: Allegoric relief (signed as well) – a woman standing in front of a canvas on which the Tablets of the Law are painted, a handshake and the Hebrew word "Other". The inscription "Alliance Israélite Universelle 1860-1910" surrounds the image.
Narcisse Leven (1833-1915), an attorney and Jewish-French social activist, together with Adolphe Crémieux and others, founded the Alliance Israélite Universelle and served as its general secretary. During the years 1883-1898 served as vice president of Alliance Israélite Universelle, and in 1898 was appointed president.

Reverse: A tree on both sides of which appears a dedication in German, from the workers of S. Bleichröder Bank, on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
S. Bleichröder Bank was founded in 1803 by the Jewish-German banker Shmuel Bleichröder, who served as the Rothschild family representative, and later turned the business into a family business.
