A citation from the poet's writings appears under the portrait and refers to her split Russian-Jewish identity. Elisheva (1888-1949 – pen name of Elizaveta Zhirkova-Bichovsky) was born in Russia to a Provoslav Christian family and made aliya to Eretz Israel in 1925. Missing corner. Several stains.

The reproductions are of title pages of Jewish papers in Eastern Europe of the early 20th cen. Good condition, minor tears and damages. Writing in Russian.
