A detailed and comprehensive guide to Eretz Israel and the neighboring countries, composed by several scholars. Each volume deals with different areas: Jerusalem and the vicinity, Jaffa, Hebron, Damascus, Sinai and Egypt and is accompanied by detailed engravings depicting the views of the area, costumes of natives, their customs and more. Engravings were created after illustrations by John Douglas Woodward and Harry Fenn. In one volume appears a color engraved map of Eretz Israel.
