Collection includes, among other publications: * Booklet outlining the basic principles of the movement. * Platform of Herut movement towards the elections to the Constituent Assembly and the second Knesset. * Platform of Herut Movement for the second Knesset. * First issue of 'Batnu'ah' leaflet – monthly leaflet distributed to movement members in Jerusalem. * Issue of 'Habira' – periodical of Bnei Etzel in Jerusalem. * Platform of Lehi. * Two booklets criticizing Herut Movement and accusing Etzel of dividing the people and of taking hasty military action, and more. Independence Haggadah. Published by IDF / Human Resources - Information branch, [1952].
This Haggadah, telling the story of the War of Independence and the establishment of the State of Israel, was written by author Aharon Megged while on reserve-duty service at the chief education and culture officer headquarters, on the initiative of then-Minister of Education Ben-Zion Dinur. Ten thousand copies were printed, intended for soldiers to read on the eve of Independence Day. The religious units and the military rabbinate objected, and the Haggadahs were destroyed. [20]
Enclosed is a copy of "Maariv" newspaper dated 5 Iyar, 1952 with an article about the "Independence Haggadah" and a photocopy of another press article on the same topic.

The Haggadah was composed by trainees of company 3 in Bahad 1, 12th year, and it features humorous texts inspired by parts of the Passover Haggadah such as "Ma Nishtana", "Had Gadya", "Ha Lachma Aniya" and more.

Two items which belonged to "Eilat": *Printed ribbon with the inscription Israel Navy Ship "Eilat", and the naval insignia in the center. Blue stripes on both sides. * Triangular flag with the naval insignia and the inscription "Israel Defense Forces, Navy" on blue background. On the base of the flag is a blue triangle with a Star of David in the center.
Over the years the Israeli navy had 4 vessels by the name of "Eilat". The items offered probably belonged to the destroyer Eilat K-40. The destroyer served the Israeli navy between 1956 and October 1967 when it was attacked by Egyptian missile ships near the shores of Port Said during a security mission which lead to its sinking.
Size and condition vary. Folds, some holes.
