A color map of Palestine, with three inset maps ("the lower Galilee and Jezreel Valley", "the Southern Sharon and Northern Lowlands" and "the South of Edom") and two section diagrams ("cross-section of the country" and "a longitudinal section of the watershed line of western Palestine"). Folds into an original cloth cover, with a printed title and price.
42X64.5 cm (folded: approx. 17 cm.). Good condition. Stains and blemishes. Tears along the fold lines (most of them minor). The front cover is detached.

All 11 woodcuts are signed in pencil by Budko and matted. With the title page insert.
Woodcuts: 5X6 cm. on average. Parchment boards: 17X25 cm. Good condition. Stains on the woodcuts and the mats. Stains and minor tears to boards. One woodcut ("Die Arche" ["Noah's Ark"]) is missing.
