The volumes contain original lithographs and reproductions of works by Chagall.

Song of Songs, designed by calligrapher Izzy Pludwinski, with linocuts by artist Mordechai beck. The text was printed in the "Shir" font designed by Pludwinski in 1998 in order to "Create a rhythmical form for the characters of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet for use in lyrical texts". The book was published in two numbered editions – a total of 510 copies (the gematria of the Hebrew word "Shir" - song). This is copy no. 380, signed by Izzy Pludwinski and by Mordechai Beck in the colophon.
A booklet with an English translation of the text enclosed; both are in a fine custom made wooden case.
