Shoham press, 1930. * A poster issued by the "association for Human Biotyplogy inviting the public to a ball at the "Mugrabi" theater for the "Institute for Professional Orientation". An advertisement poster for an end of season sale of the O.B.G men's clothes shop (the letters O.B.G. indicating the names of the owners, the Goldman Family).
At the center of the poster there is an illustration depicting a selection of the shop's clothes. On the upper and lower parts of the poster, there is the Hebrew, English and Arabic inscription: "O. B. G. General Clearance Sale / We clear the way for new goods and new work!"
Approx. 64.5x95 cm. Good-fair overall condition. Fold lines. Stains. Tears and open tears along the margins and fold lines (affecting the text and illustration in several places). Three stickers on verso, on the upper margin.

An advertisement poster for a booklet of "Sifriyat HaBalash" ("The Detective" Library). Tel Aviv: "Gutenberg-Zvi KSP, [1932].
An advertisement poster for the 12th booklet of the "Sifriyat HaBalash" series, with an illustration on the cover of the booklet and the names of the new stories – "Snunit HaMizrach" (The Swallow of the East) and "Evel Kaved" (Great Mourning). Stamped with a stamp of "HaMefarsem" from March 6, 1932.
"Sifriyat HaBalash", with its 28 booklets, was considered the messenger of the genre of Hebrew detective fiction. Most of the stories were written by Shlomo Ben-Yisrael; however, some were written by other writers, including Uri Keisari, Chaim Dov HaLachmi, Nachum Snapiri, Aryeh Samsonov, and others.
32x47.5 cm. Good condition. Fold lines, creases and a few stains. Small tears to margins and along fold lines. Stamp.

"LaAm Bamaztor" [To the Besieged Nation], a poster calling to raise funds for the Yishuv. Tel-Aviv: Shoshani Press, August, 1946.
The Hebrew caption, "To the Besieged Nation - Menachem Av, August 1946", is printed on a black and blue-and-white background.
"To the Besieged Nation" was the title given to a series of fund-raising campaigns of the "Magbit HaHitgaysut VeHahatzala" [The Enlistment and Rescue Campaign], which took place towards the end of the British Mandate. Two-thirds of the money that was raised was divided between the Haganah and the Mossad LeAliyah B [Institution for Immigration B]. The rest was allocated to aid prisoners and victims of the struggle against the British.
29x48 cm. Good condition. Stains and blemishes (especially along the edges). Linen-backed for display and preservation.
