Leaf out of the book Neun Holzschnitte zu ausgewählten Versen aus dem Buche Jeschu ben Elieser ben Sirah [Nine woodcuts for selected passages… Ben Sirah], (Berlin: Soncino, 1929).
On one side of the leaf appears a woodcut by Jacob Steinhardt, signed by him in pencil.
[1] leaf, folded into two (two printed pages), approx. 27 cm. Bottom margins of leaf are cut). Good condition. Some stains at margins of leaf, two pieces of adhesive tape on the back.

Introduction in German. A Hebrew text appears within the book surrounded by a German translation. Copy out of an edition of 800 copies, printed on paper of good quality.
[12] leaves, 27.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. An erased signature (by Steinhardt) appears on the colophon. Some damaged to binding and to spine.
Enclosed are two prints by Jacob Steinhardt which appeared in the book "Rot und Glühend ist das Auge des Juden" [red and shining is the Jew's eye] by Arno Nadel (Berlin 1920): * Nessiat Kapaim, signed in the plate. 8.5X7 cm, attached to a leaf with a printed passage from the poem "Red and Shining is the Jew's Eye" (German). * BeTefilah, signed in the plate. 9X13 cm, attached to a leaf; a printed piece of paper is attached to the leaf, with the title: "Jacob Steinhardt".
