"Warrants, orders and notices of the IDF government of Jerusalem". Issues 1-3, 5, 7-8. Jerusalem, August 1948-January 1949.
Six issues of warrants and notices by the Military Governor Dov Yosef. The issues detail various appointments and laws, which apply to areas of Jerusalem controlled by Israel, deal with emergency regulations, various civil regulations and more.
6 booklets, average size: 31 cm. Good condition. Few tears and folds to margins. Filing holes to margins of all leaves. Ink-stamps and pen inscription. Few stains.

Collection of broadsides, brochures and propaganda leaflets on behalf of "Herut" movement printed towards the elections to the constituent assembly in 1949. [Israel, ca. 1948-1949. It is possible that a number of items are later]. Hebrew and Yiddish.
1. "The Coalition" – poster with a caricature of David Ben-Gurion and other politicians.
2. Small poster with a printed caricature of David Ben-Gurion and Neville Chamberlain under the title "Mr. Chamberlain, borrow me your umbrella – now I bring peace – Munich". (Hebrew).
3. Small poster with a caricature presenting Abdullah King of Jordan, the Mufti and Ernst Bevin by the ballot box. An inscription is printed by the caricature: "Bevin-Abdulla: we shall help-and be helped! / the Mufti: Mapam promised to expel Abdullah and constitute in Jerusalem and in Nablus a 'Democratic' Arab state" (Hebrew).
4. Platform of the Hebrew Herut Movement founded by Irgun Zevai Leumi (ETZEL). A brochure published by Etzel in Palestine, Jerusalem, [1948].
5-7. Three propaganda leaflets: * "Truth wins!". "Missive to Oriental Jews". * "Collaborators with the British" (Yiddish).
8. "Permission to Speak – to Ben-Gurion" – a booklet (folded sheet) published by "Herut". The booklet deals with David Ben-Gurion, quoting passages from his essays and speeches.

"Circling Africa, journey of the naval ship Mivtach", by Yaron Livai. Published by INS Mivtach, 1957.
Mimeographed copy of handwritten and hand-illustrated booklet documenting the sailing of the naval ship Mivtach around Africa at the end of 1956. A large illustration of a sailor adorns the beginning of the booklet with the caption: "Home! When?". The next leaf presents a drawing of a map of Africa with illustrations of the cities at which the ship anchored. These are followed by a semblance of a title page with the title and publishing details and a leaf with the author's introduction. Apparently, the rest of the leaves in the booklet were drawn during the sailing and contain humoristic illustrations describing the sailing conditions, cleanliness, food and equipment, appointed officers, anchoring at various shores (Palermo, Gibraltar, Cape Town and other places), arrival at Eilat and homecoming.
The bottom of the first leaf bears the caption: "This booklet has been doubled [stenciled] between shifts by Eliezer Hertzberg". A dedication handwritten and signed by the author appears on the title page.
[2], 21 leaves + [2] leaves (bound among the paginated leaves), 25 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains. Tears, some open, to margins (particularly to first and last leaves). Long tear, reinforced with adhesive tape, to second leaf. Strips of adhesive tape to right margins of second leaf. The entire length of the spine is reinforced with adhesive tape. Penciled inscription on first leaf.

"Certificate of a public worker in the District Court of Jerusalem regarding the Attorney General against Adolph Eichmann" – official document by Shabtai Rosenne, Attorney General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, submitted as evidence at the Eichmann trial; signed by Rosenne. Jerusalem, April 10, 1961. English and Hebrew.
A document comprising copies of four documents of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1950-1951:
* Letter from the US embassy in Israel, from October 24, 1950, about the decision of the governments of the US, Great Britain and France to cease the state of war with West Germany (similar letters were submitted also by the British and French embassies). Written at the end of the letter that the aforementioned governments hope that the State of Israel take similar steps.
* Letter by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the British embassy, from January 9, 1951. The letter was a rejoinder to the decision of the governments of the US, Great Britain and France to cease the state of war with Germany and notifies that the State of Israel maintains the right to adopt a different policy.
* Two copies of a notice by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from July 9, 1951 (one in Hebrew and the other in English): "More than eighteen years have elapsed since the Nazi Government came to power and anti-Semitism became a major object of German policy… Six years after the end of hostilities the German people have not yet made any expiation or reparation for the crimes committed by the Nazis… As long as this state of affairs continues, Germany's wae against the Jewish people cannot be regarded as having come to an end".
The four copies were submitted together as evidence in the Eichmann Trial by Shabtai Rosenne, and are accompanied by a declaration signed by him.
