A book dedicated to the development of the Zionist movement in Russia. At the beginning of the first part appears the poem "Lemenuchatcha Israel", by Menachem Mendel Dolitzky. In part 2 appears a lamentation on the death of Herzl who passed away while the book was being printed.
Part i: 12, 155 pp; part 2: 20, 64 pp, 17 cm. Good condition. Stains, (mainly to endpapers).

The issues feature reproductions of works by different artists, among them: David Bomberg, Moise Kisling, Jacob Epstein, Marc Chagall, Camille Pissarro, and others. Illustrated wrappers.
