Marchand Juif Ambulant [Jewish Peddler]. Engraving colored by hand. Out of the book Collection de Costumes Polonais, published in 1817 and depicting different Polish figures and their costumes. The engravings were created by the master-engraver Philibert-Louis Debucourt after paintings by Jean-Pierre Norblin, a French painter who spent many years in Poland.
Approx.16X25 cm. Fair condition. Dark leaf. Stains. Some tears at margins. Lighter areas. Small open tear, restored with white paper in the center of the engraving.
