Alpine view, oil on wood by Dario Treves (1907-1978). [Italy, second half of 20th century]. Signed "Treves".
Dario Treves, Italian-Jewish painted, born in Torino. In 1940 fled to the United States where he lived and acted until 1949, when he returned to Italy.
A dedication appears on the back (in Italian), apparently handwritten by the artist, dated November 3, 1962.
50X40 cm. Good condition. Some defects to paint at margins of board. Superficial fracture to back of board.
