Sendschreiben an unsere Israëlitische Glaubensgenossen. A booklet published on behalf of the "Organization of officials and administrators of Amsterdam" (Pekidim ve-Amarkalim). [Amsterdam. 1936?]. German, some Hebrew.
A booklet about the state of Jews in Jerusalem, Hebron, Safed and other towns in Palestine. It includes translations of letters received by the "Organization of officials and administrators of Amsterdam" (Pekidim ve-Amarkalim) from Jewish communities in Palestine. At the end of the booklet appears a table listing amounts of donations collected in different cities in the Netherland, Germany, England and North America.
The "Organization of officials and administrators of Amsterdam" (Pekidim ve-Amarkalim) is a Jewish organization founded in 1809 for the purpose of collecting funds for supporting Jews in Palestine. The organization was lead by the Dutch banker Zvi Hirsch Lehren. His efficient methods of raising funds granted him and the organization much influence on the Jewish settlement as far as society, economy, education and welfare were concerned.

Múlt és Jövő, zsido irodalmi muveszeti, tarsadalmi és kritikai folyóirat [Past and Future, periodical for literature and criticism]. Founded and edited by József Patai. About 180 issues bound in 17 volumes. Budapest, 1922-1940. Hungarian.
The literary periodical "Múlt és Jövő [Past and Future]" was founded in 1911 and was published for 33 consecutive years. It was edited by the poet and Zionist activist József Patai (1882-1953). "This was a fighting Zionist periodical; Patai organized trips to Palestine, published translated works by authors and poets from Palestine and nurtured young talents in Hungary, while struggling with the assimilation tendencies of the official, anti-Zionist, community that supported Jewish-Hungarian patriotism" (Naftali Kraus, “'Past and Future' and a grey present in between,” in: "Kesher", vol. 7, Tel-Aviv, 1990).
The publication was profusely illustrated by and with works of leading Jewish artists of the period, including Ephraim Moshe Lilien, Hermann Struck, Jacob Steinhardt, Lesser Uri, Shlomo Yudovin and others, as well as pictures and photographs of settlements, events and personalities from the Yeshuv in Palestine.
Enclosed: Two additional issues of the periodical, dated November 1916 and September-October 1935.

A diverse archive of photographs and paper items belonging to the curator of the Jewish Museum in Vienna, Jakob Bronner, and to his family. Vienna and other cities in Europe, early-mid 20th century. German and some Hebrew.
The archive includes, among others:
* About 120 greetings (some handwritten on calling cards) sent to Bronner family members by acquaintances and personalities in Vienna.
* Two Guest-Books, with tens of handwritten dedications, some illustrated. Most are from the first decades of the 20th century, in Breslau.
* Ten notebooks written by hand (German), five are stamped with ink-stamps of Jakob Bronner, some about biblical matters, and others, apparently concerning other subjects.
* Three memorial books prepared for members of another family in Vienna, Epstein family, who died during the first decades of the 20th century. The books were printed in Vienna and are decorated with illustrations in color, with photographs of the deceased and with pasted newspaper clippings.
* 39 photographs (pasted to thick album leaves) which belonged to a soldier in World War II (most probably one of the family members) in different locations in Italy and Sicily. Some of the photographs are titled by hand on the back.

The order was published on July 17, 1691 and contains 19 clauses regarding animal taxes. Among other details, it states that Jews who want to bring an animal into the city must pay a double tax, and that there will be a special tax for Jews who want to to enter the city without an animal.
