Kol sasson vekol simcha" – Handwritten invitation to wedding. Halle (Prussia), Tishrey 24, 1752.
The letter, written in prose, was sent by the groom to "My beloved teacher… Rabbi R. Hirsch" inviting him to participate in his marriage with "the bride Miss Rivka, daughter of my illustrious father-in-law Rabbi Wolff from Dessau" to take place Kislev 19, 1752. He signs the letter with an interesting allegory derived from the combination of two verses and then his name "the groom Joshua the son of Jeremiah from Bleichroit, temporarily living in Halle".
