Splendid engravings decorate the beginning of Shir HaShirim, the title page of Sefer Ketuvim and the beginning of Tehillim. Written on the title page: “Printed by Christophoro Plantin by the order of Sir Bombirgi”. Colophon on last leaf: Printed by me in the home of Christophoro Plantin with Bomberg printing and letters in the month of Tevet 1565…”. This is the first edition of the Bible that Plantin printed in Antwerp. Plantin, a foremost 16th century printer.
