Three belts made of silver links with niello decorations. Caucasus Region and Russia, [early 20th century].
Silver, niello; fabric.
1. Belt composed of twenty-five silver links connected to one another with chains. Slightly convex buckle, closed with dagger-shaped ornament. Marked with Russian silver marks, ca. 1908-26. 77X7 cm.
2. Belt composed of velvet cloth strap with ten small button-like silver ornaments and four elongated silver ornaments sewn on. Slightly convex buckle, closed with hook. 75X6 cm.
3. Short belt composed of gold-colored fabric strap with silver button and Russian coin dated 1903 sewn on. Six Russian coins dated 1861-64 suspended from buckle decorated in vegetal patterns. Closed with hook. 55X6.5 cm.

Two "Khanjali" ("Kinzhal") daggers with decorated scabbards. Georgia / the Caucasus Region, [early 20th century].
Silver, marked, niello and silver thread; wood.
1. Hilt and scabbard decked in silver and decorated with dense vegetal patterns, some in niello. Arabic name, and date, 1329 (= 1911 CE) according to the Muslim calendar, engraved on back of scabbard. Length: 49 cm.
2. Scabbard and part of hilt decked in silver and decorated with arches and vegetal patterns, some in niello. Dedicatory inscription in Georgian (Kartuli) language, dated 1917, on back of scabbard, next to illustration of male-female couple (possibly indicating that the dagger was presented as a wedding gift). Length: 51 cm.

Metal thread and cotton thread embroidered onto cotton fabric and cardboard; beads, gemstones and glass beads; filigree silver decorations; silver coins.
Elegant decorative work of embroidery: rectangular cloth-covered cardboard panel, with symmetrical vegetal patterns embroidered on front. Embroidered onto background composed of woven gilt metal thread, with small, bright-colored pearl-like beads, coral beads, dozens of gemstones, colored glass beads, and filigreed silver ornaments threaded in. Silver coins dangle from bottom of panel.
Approx. 35X15 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes.

Silver (gilt), cut, cast and engraved; silver thread; carnelian gemstones; sheet silver, punched; cotton fabric.
Large, sealed amulet holder at center of ornament, over a rectangular ornament with spikes, from which pendants with dangling bells and chains with bells are suspended. Topped by triangular ornament. Cloth harness adorned with silver disk-shaped ornaments with floral patterns.

Leather handbag. On front, silver plate with inlaid carnelian gemstones and geometric patterns. Long leather carrying strap, also inlaid with silver ornaments and gemstones.
Handbags of this type were carried by women, and were used for holding books of the Qur'an or surahs excerpted from the Qur'an, alongside personal items.

1-2. Two diamond-shaped "chamga" garment ornaments (robe clasps), inlaid with carnelian gemstones. With pendants that chime like bells. 14X21.5 cm, 13.5X20.5 cm.
3. Necklace (also serving as chest ornament [pectoral]). Consists of small pendants punched with vegetal patterns; and three large pendants, fashioned with granulation. Some ornaments inlaid or set with coral beads or glass beads in a number of different colors. Approx. 20X20 cm.
4. Very large bracelet, inlaid with carnelian gemstones. 9X6.5 cm.
